TINA Sunday Fair

Posted by: irninology on: October 2, 2009

This Is Not Art: a supercharged convergence of writers, performers, thinkers, independent musicians and industry, creative researchers, electronic artists, dilettantes, and DIY culture makers.

The Sunday Fair is one of the highlight events, providing an opportunity for emerging and established artists and makers to show their works, network with like-minded people, and learn and be inspired by the works of others.  It’s an incredible marketplace of art and ideas. One-off artworks, and small-run publishing – often available for sale from the artists themselves, are just some of the wonderful goodies you’ll find. And of course a huge range of zines.

This year the Market will be held at “Ghetto Town” the amazing new space right on the top of King St Car Park. The car park is located on the corner of King Street and Thorn Street and pedestrian access is also available via lift which is accessed by Laing Street (off Morgan and Thorn) which runs parallel to the mall. The ocean vista views are phenomenal!

The Sunday Fair will be running from 12noon till 5pm.

I am SO excited to be heading to Newcastle this weekend for the This Is Not Art Sunday Zine Fair… I’ll be launching my first 3 zines…

along with a bunch of new stuff I’ve been making… more floral headbands, some leather and lace headbands and a his/hers series.

Please come by and say hi, (this applies especially to my resident Newcastle friends who I miss dearly and would love to see!)
